President and Investment Advisor Representative
Mitchell Spiehs is the president of Spiehs Wealth Management, Inc. As an independent financial advisor, he specializes in helping the local community find ways to reduce their taxes, assisting them in protecting their assets and finding ways to maximize their income in retirement.
Each year, Mitch holds seminars open to the public. Topics include: tax reduction, asset protection, maximizing income, protection from market losses and much more.
Mitch has over 20 years of financial experience and has aligned himself with estate planning attorneys and CPAs to provide comprehensive solutions that help fulfill his clients’ needs. Committed to furthering his knowledge each year, he attends industry events and planning workshops.
Born and raised on a farm near Grand Island, Mitch understands the unique situations that local people deal with and works to reduce the worry associated with financial matters before and after retirement.
Mitchell’s appointment process is a three-step process. First appointment is introductory; questions are asked and information is collected. Second appointment is where general concepts are discussed on how to meet client goals. Third appointment is implementation of strategies that meet those goals. In Mitchell’s opinion, retirement planning is a process, and recommendations or changes are rarely made on a first appointment.
